The Transfer Application and Student Essay
For a myriad of reasons, some students wish to transfer from one college to another and are seeking a guide to coach them through this specialized application process. I work with students during any or all stages of the Transfer application process, from essay ideation and drafting to framing supplemental essays to highlight strengths and successes. Together, we create a portrait of the “whole” student.
As always, my goal as an essay coach is twofold: to help students become better writers during this process, communicating in an effective tone exactly who they are and what’s important to them, and, of course to help them gain acceptance into their school of choice.
